Svetlana Vukov lives and works in Belgrade. She graduated the contemporary costume from the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Belgrade, in the class of professor Doda Komad, in 2006. From then until the mid-2013, she was a costume designer in the promotion of various domestic and foreign brands and assistant of local fashion designers.
The desire for independence and full creativity inspired her to start designing her own line of jewelry in June 2013. The initial experimenting with various materials and techniques led her to recognizable and original pieces of jewelry made of natural leather, wood and brass.
For her, the jewelry is the essence of every outfit. Minimalism, witty design and industrial elements are what inspires this designer and what is reflected in the design of her jewelry. Education itself, and then years of working in the fashion industry, gave her a rich experience in recognizing and implementing all work processes – from the initial idea to the final solution, as well as to the placement of products on the market.
